The term in Film

Film fans, be it films in domestic or foreign films may often see scenes in a movie featuring one actor or a famous artist. But their appearance in the film just a few minutes it takes a lot aliases duration of the film.
In the world of film scenes like this is called a cameo.
According to Wikipedia Indonesian, cameo is the emergence of a well-known in the field of performing acts such as movies, teather, video games, and so forth. However, the duration of their appearance does not last long and do not have a role that has a greater weight. can also be a cameo appearance in a film form of a photograph or a painting (or similar works) of famous people who have no or a legend.




Many are mistaken between cameo and guest stars, like in the movie The Dreamer(indonesian Film). Emerging Ariel (peterpan) at the end of film is not a cameo but Ariel is a guest star. Although Ariel is a well-known artist and his appearance in the film could be considered a bit but here Ariel is not categorized as a guest star cameo. It is precisely in the movie The Dreamer is the cameo is the figure Rhoma Irama. You can see the most played song and also that glimpse of his picture plastered on the film.

There are some differences between cameo and guest star:

cameo:

1. The name does not appear in the credits roll
2. portrayed by famous people, can also play as himself.
3. Appearance can be either the original or any photograph images.
4. Acting out of character that has no effect on the story
5. just as timorous
6. simply as an attraction movie
7. usually without dialogue

Guest Star:

1. The name listed in the credits title
2. portrayed by famous people or not
3. portrayed affecting storyline
4. The story has a corresponding dialog.
